After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will meet your professional, licensed tour guide who will accompany you on a fascinating journey to the Giza Plateau. There, you will explore the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, followed by a visit to the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple that faces this magnificent statue. After immersing yourself in the wonders of ancient Egypt, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, your tour continues with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), where you will explore the main galleries and view some of Egypt’s most treasured artifacts. Your guide will highlight key masterpieces and provide rich historical context, offering a deeper understanding of Egypt’s ancient civilizations and dynasties. General admission tickets to the museum are included. If time permits, you may also stop at the Papyrus Institute and local perfume shops near the Pyramids area for a bit of shopping. After the tour, you will return to your hotel and spend the night in Cairo.

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your hotel for an unforgettable day tour to Alexandria. Your first stop will be Pompey's Pillar, a towering Roman column built in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally part of the Temple of Serapis, it once stood as a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and Caesarean. Next, you will visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the largest known Roman cemetery in Egypt, featuring a remarkable network of tombs spread across three levels carved into the rock. Following your exploration, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria. Afterward, continue to the Qaitbay Citadel, a 15th-century fortress built on the exact site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the ancient world’s Seven Wonders. Before concluding the tour, you’ll make a brief stop at the Library of Alexandria (Bibliotheca Alexandrina), a modern cultural icon paying homage to the great ancient library. After the tour, you will return to your hotel in Cairo.

Later, you will be transferred back to your hotel to refresh before an unforgettable evening. Experience a magical Cairo Nile Dinner Cruise aboard the elegant Nile Maxim, where you’ll enjoy a two-hour cruise on the Nile accompanied by belly dancers, folkloric performances, and Oriental music.
